Material and Construction
Made from 100% ribbed cotton woven on a handloom by skilled artisans. The ribbed weave creates a textured surface with natural visual rhythm - more interesting than plain weave without the pattern complexity of a printed or jacquard design. Cotton is chosen for its durability, washability, and breathability, making these linens practical for everyday use rather than occasional-only placement.
The handloom weaving process produces slight variations in weave density and texture from piece to piece - a characteristic of artisan production that distinguishes these linens from machine-produced alternatives.
Table Compatibility
Works on rectangular, square, and round tables. For round tables, the runner can be draped across the diameter for a simple, clean look. For square tables, two overlapping runners in a crosshatch placement create a layered table-center effect. Mix matching placemats and runners in the same colorway for a coordinated look, or combine complementary textures for a collected, intentional table setting.
