Why Jute?
Jute is one of the most sustainable natural fibers available - it's a fast-growing plant that requires minimal water and no pesticides to cultivate, making it one of the lowest-impact agricultural crops used in textile production. It is naturally biodegradable, meaning it doesn't contribute to synthetic waste at end of life.
Beyond sustainability, jute is structurally strong. The natural fiber has a tensile strength that allows it to withstand foot traffic, furniture weight, and everyday handling without fraying or breaking down quickly. With regular use, jute develops a slightly more supple character - it wears in rather than wearing out.
Braided Construction

Care Instructions
Vacuum regularly with a brush attachment to remove debris from between the braids. Rotate periodically for even wear distribution. Spot clean spills immediately with a dry cloth - absorb as much liquid as possible before any moisture penetrates into the fiber. For stubborn stains, use a small amount of mild detergent diluted in cold water and blot gently. Professional cleaning is recommended for deep stains or full cleaning. Keep away from prolonged moisture exposure - jute is a natural fiber and does not respond well to saturation.
